About Nick, Centreline's Founder
Nick was raised around engines. Growing up in a family of mechanics and automotive enthusiasts, he developed an early, hands-on understanding of how machines work and a deep respect for doing things the right way. That foundation turned into a career defined by discipline, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship running one of the most trusted auto-mechanic shops in Southern California.
In the automotive world, Nick became known for his meticulous approach. Clean, methodical, and thorough, he built a reputation for diagnosing issues others missed and delivering work that held up over time. He doesn't cut corners, and he doesn't guess. Every decision is intentional, every job done with care.
But Nick's passion has always extended beyond cars.
As a longtime boat owner and marine enthusiast, he spent years maintaining and operating his own vessel, a Boston Whaler 230 Outrage, learning firsthand the complexity of marine systems and the importance of reliability on the water. Through that experience, he saw a consistent problem across local marinas: mechanics and vessel managers who were difficult to reach, slow to respond, over-priced but under-experienced, and often frustrating to deal with.
Today, he brings his automotive precision and customer-first mindset into the marine industry offering responsive, honest, and high-quality service to boat owners who expect more. Whether it's routine maintenance, troubleshooting, or major boat system failures, Nick approaches every vessel as if it were his own.
Clear communication. Clean work. No shortcuts.
For boat owners who value meticulousness and working direct-to-technician, Nick delivers a level of service that stands apart.
